Analysis of the Determinants of Fish Quality in Export Markets

August 15, 2021 0
Analysis of the Determinants of Fish Quality in Export Markets

Quality of a product is ultimately defined by customers based on the conformance and performance of the product. Attainment of quality requires the performance of a wide variety of identifiable activities. The introduction of modern technology, highly skilled employees and other activities alone do not determine quality unless there is customers’ involvements in the specification of quality determinants. This paper explained the importance of business relationships and customer involvements on the determination of quality fish products in export markets.

Effectiveness of Aggregate Determinants of Deficit Financing on Capital Formation in Nigeria An Approach Based on the ARDL Model

In Nigeria, despite the huge expansion of public expenditure based on the budget deficit status over the years, the expected level of economic growth as a result capital formation has not been achieved and it is against this backdrop, that this study investigated the effectiveness of aggregate deficit financing on capital formation in Nigeria for the period 1981 2019 with the help of the ARDL model of estimation. Based on the issues covered in the literature review, empirical investigations were carried out on the effect of deficit financing on capital formation in Nigeria. Results showed that External Debt Stock LNEXDBT had a positive relationship with GCF GDP in the current year, 1st and 2nd lags but statistically insignificant in the long run, Domestic Debt Stock LNDMDBT had a negative relationship with GCF GDP in the current year, 1st and 2ndyear lags and long run, Aggregate Gross Savings LNADBTS had a positive significant relationship with GCF GDP in the current year and in the long run, Aggregate Debt Service LNADBTS had a positive relationship with GCF GDP in the current year and in the long run while Total external reserves had a negative relationship with GCF GDP in the current year and in the long run. Based on the findings, the study recommended that the Government should demonstrate a high sense of transparency in its monetary and fiscal operations to curb high prevalence of external and domestic borrowing, improved gross savings to reduce the incidence of inflation which will translate to economic prosperity. Review on Second Hand House Price Forecast

As a country with a large population, China has a huge real estate market and consumption potential. Nowadays, due to various factors, the second hand real estate industry began to occupy a large part of the real estate market. Although people buy houses for different reasons, but the price of second hand housing is the common concern of consumers and developers. Forecasting the price of second hand housing can not only provide a scientific basis for real estate developers to develop real estate and ordinary residents to buy houses, but also provide a reference for the government to formulate macro control policies. Therefore, this paper combs the prediction model of second hand house price and the purpose of purchasing house, hoping to do some research in this area.

Defining Competitive Advantage of Mongolian Wool Products

January 05, 2020 0
Defining Competitive Advantage of Mongolian Wool Products

The economy of Mongolia has traditionally been based on agriculture and livestock. But since democratic revolution in 1990, mining sector started to play important role in economy of Mongolia. Even though it contributes to the nation's economy remarkably, an array of adverse consequence follows this development particularly ecological imbalance. Thus government of Mongolia decided to bring improvement economy by supporting agriculture industry including cashmere and wool industry. But because of the texture of Mongolian sheep wool, it faces some difficulties to produce large amount of clothes, yet one more alternative is to manufacture quality construction insulation material based on this feature of the wool. And there is potential to sell it on international platform by doing marketing with great promotions.

Socio-Economic Status of Women Bidi Workers in Karimnagar Telangana
Bidi workers are often the most vulnerable group in society, most of which depend on Bidi rolling in rural India. They are struggling to survive even though low wages and contractors are in constant exploitation, lack of education and medical facilities and neglect of government policies. Many Bidi workers in India are different from women and their workforce who work from their homes, and for that reason they are easily targeted for macroeconomic exploitation .MEU workers have many health problems. The study describes the Case Study of Womens Beady Workers in Rural India as the study program, health education and proper implementation of various schemes to reduce labour issues and the preventive measures.

The papers central idea is to explore the relationship between womens socio-economic positions in the unorganized sector with special instructions for Bidi Rolling. Bidi manufacturing in India is one of the biggest jobs for women in the age-old industry and unorganized sector. Women have an inherent advantage in this work, employed by beet worms there is more important gender bias. A weak economic class mainly works in a country where there is not enough education and skill for an alternative job. Women prefer Bidi is rolling work because it carries home from home as well. Hence, they organize household jobs along with family income. However, the trade has been declining for the most part of the year, making it less unemployed.

Estimating of Willingness to Pay for Reducingthe Urban Congestionin the Tunisian Agglomeration

Congestion of the urban traffic is growing in Tunisia, and the situation is likely to become critical in the near future. The aim of this paper is to determine the major characteristics of a solution to reduce congestion in the case of a developing country.

We have developed a survey on the willingness to pay in Tunis City in order to evaluate their reaction using the Contingent Evaluation Method. The results show that Tunisians are reluctant to abandon the use of their private cars despite their awareness of the phenomenon of congestion, of its high costs and of its socio-economic and environmental constraints.

This paper constitutes a first attempt in Tunisia aiming to quantify, explain and determine the factors of the Willingness to Pay of the private car users in order to reduce the congestion problems and consequently to ensure a smooth flow.

Economic Analysis of Machine Transplanted Rice in Thoothukudi District by Dr. T. Rajendran | R. Kavitha | S. P. PrasathBalaji | A. Mathivanan
Rice is being cultivated in conventional method of transplanting, but due to shortage of water and labor, new technique called Machine Transplanting is practiced by few farmers nowadays. Machine transplanting involves planting young rice seedlings into puddled soil by a machine. It requires considerably less time and labor than manual transplanting. Thoothukudi district is one among the major producers of rice in Tamil Nadu. This is study is mainly focusing on to assess the economic analysis of machine transplanted rice in Thoothukudi district. Total cost of seedling for traditional method of planting seedlings per acre was Rs. 1800/- and machine transplanting was Rs. 1000/- per acre.

The expenses incurred on plant protection was slightly high in case of conventionally planted fields [Rs. 1500/-], as compared to the mechanically transplanted fields [Rs.1100/-]. Weed management was comparatively lesser [Rs. 3600/-] in case of mechanical transplanted fields, this is mainly because of practicing Cono weeder. But in case of conventionally planted fields weeding expenses reported on Rs. 4000/-. Regarding yield higher in machine transplanted rice [2350 kg/ac] when compared to conventional transplanted rice [2000 kg/ac].

The benefit-cost ratio was higher in machine transplanted rice [1: 2.5] where is in conventional transplanted rice [1: 1.9]. Hence, the farmers might have more scope to cultivate machine transplanted rice with higher profitability. The constraints faced by the farmers in machine transplantation were no proper training on operation, Non-timely availability of trans planter and land fragmentation. If increase more training to the farmers to operate rice trans planter and government might encourage more hiring centers for rice trans planter might boost up the machine transplanted rice.

Stock Prediction System Based on Key Statistics for S&P 500 With Linear SVC

Stock Prediction System Based on Key Statistics for S&P 500 With Linear SVC

Previous research shows strong evidence that traditional regression- based predictive models face significant challenges in predictability tests due to uncertain models and unstable parameters. Recent studies introduce new, stable strategies to overcome these problems. Support Vector Clustering is a relatively new learning algorithm that has the desirable characteristics of the control of the decision function, the use of the kernel method, and the sparsity of the solution.

In this paper, we present a theoretical and empirical framework to apply the Support Vector Machines strategy to predict the stock market. There are many factors like macro and microeconomic events that may influence the stock trend. For predicting the stock performance, Support Vector Machine is used to analyze the relationship between these factors. Our results suggest that support vector clustering is a powerful predictive tool for stock predictions in the financial market.

Production and Productivity of Saffron in Jammu and Kashmir by Ajaz Ahmad Dass | Dr. Sneha v. Deshpande

Production and Productivity of Saffron in Jammu and Kashmir by Ajaz Ahmad Dass | Dr. Sneha v. Deshpande
Saffron cultivation confined to a limited geographical area in the State of Jammu and Kashmir is under stress reportedly due to cement dust pollution and land use changes. Besides, having tremendous medicinal values, Saffron has traditionally been associated with the famous Kashmiri cuisine and undoubtedly represents the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir. However, Saffron production is currently suffering on several counts; falling productivity and unscientific post-harvest management are the major concerns.

Some other factors that are responsible for the decline of saffron industry in Kashmir are, lack of availability of good-quality corms as seed material, poor soil fertility, lack of assured irrigation, infestation by rodents and diseases, poor post-harvest management, improper marketing facilities and increased urbanization on saffron lands. This legendary crop is under threat of extinction and warrants collective attention of researchers, farmers and policy makers.

As far as the economics of this crop is concerned, creation of the strong market demand is the biggest opportunity for its revival and needs a consortium of traders and producers to be established at the International level for market assurance and price stability. While the scientific aspect demands more work on genetic improvement and post-harvest technologies.

Price Spread, Marketing Channel of Banana in Southern Tamil Nadu

April 05, 2016 0
Price Spread, Marketing Channel of Banana in Southern Tamil Nadu
India is the largest producer of banana in the world. In India Banana ranks second next to Mango in area and production, occupying an area of about 83 lakh hectares with an annual production of 46.26 lakh tons. The important banana growing states are Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, West Bengal, Bihar and Gujarat. However, the present production of banana in the country is highly inadequate. It is estimated that, the present annual per capita consumption of banana in India is 50 kg per head which is very low compared with other progressive banana growing countries such as Jamaica, Congo, Equator, Kenya and Uganda. Thus there is an immense scope of increasing banana production in the country. Banana is cultivated in an area of over 8037 hectares in Tuticorin District.

This district is one of the major cultivators of banana in the state next to Trichy district. Srivaikuntam and Tiruchendur Taluks are the major cultivators of banana in the district. A major portion of this crop is marketed to other districts / neighbouring state, Kerala. The present study is to assessing the marketing channel of banana, two taluks namely Srivaikundam and Alwarthirunagari were selected for the study. We have interviewed 30 farmers [15 farmers of each block] and 20 intermediaries. There were three marketing channel through which banana was marketed in the study area. Banana is harvested and marketed throughout the year in the region. The banana producers can sell their produce either through pre harvest contract or commission agents and wholesaler. The retailers buy the banana from the above intermediaries.
