Ensuring Effective Information Security Management Information Classification and Access Control Practices

This study is based on information security management in financial institutions from the perspective of information classification and access control. As objectives, the study set out to assess information classification practices in microfinance institutions and their effect on overall information security management, and to examine access control in microfinance institutions and how it impacts information security management. The study made use of the Information Security Theory by Horne, Ahmad and Maynard, and a sequential exploratory mixed method survey research design. As data collection instruments, a questionnaire and an interview guide were used, with validity and reliability guaranteed by subject experts, ISO IEC checklists, and Kuder Richardson formula 20 which realised a score of 0.81. Of the 30 managers and information security officers who participated in the study, a response rate of 100 was registered. To analyse data, descriptive statistics and thematic analysis were used. The findings portray loopholes in information classification and access control and thus in the information security management programme of participating institutions. Some recommendations put forth are the need to adopt information classification schedules with distinguished levels of sensitivity, drafting of access control policies, signing of non disclosure agreements and introduction of information security officers to ensure implementation and follow up.

System Analysis and Design Effectiveness of Consolidity Theory

September 18, 2019 0
System Analysis and Design Effectiveness of Consolidity Theory

Systems Analysis and Design is an active field in which analysts repetitively learn new approaches and different techniques for building the system more effectively and efficiently. System is an organized relationship between any set of components to achieve some common cause or objective. System analysis is a process of collecting and interpreting facts, identifying the problems, and decomposition of a system into its components. System design is a process of planning a new business system or replacing an existing system by defining its components or modules to satisfy the specific requirements. The change pathway theory within the framework of the concept of system consolidity is based on the fact that any system parameter change will take place through changes in some form of system physical layers of different types. Consolidity is an internal property of systems that plays an essential role in governing their parameters changes when subjected to events or varying environments ""on and above"" their normal operations or original set points.

Texture Images Classification using Secant Lines Segments Histogram

August 28, 2019 0
Texture Images Classification using Secant Lines Segments Histogram

Texture classification is the process to classify different textures from the given images. The aim of texture classification is to classify the category of a texture image. To design an effective algorithm for texture classification, it is essential to find a set of texture features with good discriminating power. This paper presents a texture classification system using secant lines segments histogram and Euclidean Distance. Secant lines segments histogram is used to generate the features from texture images as a histogram. These features offer a better discriminating strategy for texture classification. These features are first used for training and later on for classifying the texture images. Euclidean Distance is used for distinguishing each of the known categories for classification.

Cancer Precision Medicine Physiological Function of C MYC as Targeted Molecule

The genome represents a design for creating the body, with each one being different. In cancer genomic medicine, many genes are simultaneously examined using mainly cancer tissues the oncogene panel test , and gene mutations are revealed. Cancer treatments are then initiated according to each individual's constitution and medical condition based on gene mutations. A system for cancer genome medical treatment is currently being developed. In the treatment of several cancer types, the ""oncogene test with an oncogene companion diagnosis"" is already being performed as a standard test using cancer tissue to detect one or several gene mutations. Precision Medicine discovering unique therapies that treat an individual's cancer based on the specific abnormalities, i.e. germline or somatic mutations of their tumors. In this paper, we will explain the biological role of C MYC and emphasize the importance of C MYC as a target factor in cancer precision medicine. Tropical Cyclone Determination using Infrared Satellite Image

Many sub continents in the world have the region that are affected by the cyclone in every year. To prevent the loss of life and their assets, cyclone prediction is a major role because of directly related to the lives and household of human being. Satellite images provide an excellent view of clouds which can be used in weather forecasting and especially Infrared Red IR satellite images play in many environmental applications. To find the tropical cyclone TC center, the basic stage is to extract the main cloud of the cyclone. In manual segmentation, selection of the storm region is complicated, time consuming task and it also need the human experts for every time processing. The semi and fully automatic storm detection is sophisticated and difficult process because of the overlapping between boundaries of the cloud. Fuzzy C means FCM clustering and morphological image processing is applied for segmentation each infrared satellite images. The effectiveness is tested for infrared cyclone image over Kalpana satellite which is obtained from the INSAT satellite of India. 45 tropical cyclones are occurred during the period 1989 2014 over Bay of Bengal. Cyclones Nargis that mainly affected to Myanmar in 2 May 2008 as case study. Experimental results show that the high location accuracy can be obtained.

Efficient Face Expression Recognition Methods FER A Literature Review

Recognition of artificial faces is an intriguing and testing problem and affects important applications in various regions, such as cooperation between human computers and data oriented activity. Facial expression is the fastest correspondence methods for transmitting data. It is straightforward the outward appearance of an individual by looking at his her face yet somehow or other with regard to machines it ends up difficult to pass judgment on the outward appearance while using PC devices yet it is not incomprehensible in any way. This not only revealed any individuals affectability or sentiments, but it can also be used to make a judgement on the psychological views, yet again it could not fully understand the perception of human behaviour, the discovery of mental problems and fabricated human expressions. Expressions such as SAD, HAPPY, DISGUST, FEAR, ANGER, NEUTRAL and SURPRISE have been suggested in a broad range of processesThis paper includes implementing face recognition along with facial expression recognition, analyzing recent and past research to extract effective and efficient methods for recognition of facial expression.

Economics of Water in India why does it matter

Water is an essential element to maintain life on earth. Access to water can be regarded as a basic human right. Water is more or less regarded as free community in general. But around the world, water is now treated as more than a natural resource but as a socio economic resource. It provides various economic benefits to individuals and industries through its use in productive activities. At present, India is facing a serious water crisis. At this point of time, India has 16 of total population of the world but only 4 of world's total water resources. Increase in demand and constant supply of water resources are contributing to increasing physical scarcity of water resources in India. The present paper analyzes the value of water resources and emerging issues related to water scarcity in India from an economic perspective.

Anatomical Exploration of "Kukkutasana"

Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit term Yuj' meaning to bind, join, attach and yoke, to direct and concentrate ones attention on, to use and apply. It also means union or communion. It is the true union of our will with the will of God. Yoga is performed through some specific postures called Asana. Among the eight limbs of Yoga, the yogic technique properly begins at the third limb that is the Asana. The word Asana is well known around the world for the yogic posture into which the whole science of Yoga is shrinking. Patanjali defines Asana as Sthirasukhatvam"" in Yogasutra which can be translated as stable and agreeable. The benefits of Asana range from physical to spiritual level. Asana not only tone the muscles, ligaments, joints and nerves but also maintains the smooth functioning and health of entire body. ""Kukkutasana"" was described as one of the 32 most important Asana in Gheranda Samhita. In Sanskrit ""Kukkut"" means Cock or Rooster and ""Asana"" means sit, Pose or Posture. Kukkutasana or cock Pose is named so since it looks like a cock. In this article anatomical structures involved in the ""Kukkutasana"" and how this involvement is beneficial in maintaining the health or in management of any disease is explained.

Modeling and Design of High Rise Statue of Lard Shree Ram using Staad Pro Software

Integrating design processing using various designing and modelling software's in high rise sculpture creates new opportunities for aesthetics discovery. These technologies enable artists to make high rise sculptures and provide safety, modify and disseminate art and make possible a new type of work.By using a behaviour based software architecture to control a sculptures movement, complex series of coordinated motion can be performed in response to the sculpture's environment and in relation to its internal state .Adding behaviour to sculpture changes the conversation between people and sculpture. As people directly influence the movement of sculpture, the results of this conversation can be stored by sculpture and used to modify the course of future interaction and behaviour. It provides the foundation of a new dialogue between the sculptor, sculpture and the audience.

Vitamin D in Chronic Kidney Disease

August 06, 2019 0
Vitamin D in Chronic Kidney Disease

Vitamin D deficiency is widespread in both the pediatric and adult chronic kidney disease CKD population. CKD is characterized by dysregulation of vitamin D and mineral metabolism. Secondary hyperparathyroidism and its management puts patients with CKD at increased cardiovascular risk. Emergence of experimental and some clinical data suggesting beneficial effects of vitamin D on proteinuria, blood pressure, inflammation and cardiovascular outcomes has pushed it to the center stage of CKD research. Pediatric data on vitamin D dysregulation and its consequences are still in its infancy. Ongoing prospective studies such as Chronic Kidney disease in Children CKiD and the Cardiovascular Comorbidity in Children with CKD 4 C should help to delineate the evolution of disturbances in mineral metabolism and its adverse effects on growth, CKD progression and cardiovascular outcomes.

Accident Detection System using Arduino Uno

August 06, 2019 0
Accident Detection System using Arduino Uno

In highly populated countries, people lose their lives because of accidents and poor emergency facilities every day. These lives could have been saved if medical facilities are provided at the right time. This thesis implies a system which is a solution to this drawback, when a vehicle meets with an accident immediately, accelerometer module detects the signal, and it is sent to the Arduino microcontroller programmed by C programming language. Arduino sends an alert message through the GSM module including the location to the police station or a rescue team. So the police can immediately trace the location through the GPS modem after receiving the information. LCD is used to display location message from GPS module. The system is simulated and practically designed by the use of required hardware components and the results are satisfied with the expectation.
