RP 170 Formulating Solutions of a Special Class of Standard Cubic Congruence Modulo p2 Multiple of 3n

In this research paper, the author has formulated the solutions of a standard cubic congruence of composite modulus modulo p2 multiple of 3n, n being a positive integer. It is found that the said congruence has exactly 3p incongruent solutions p being an odd prime positive integer. It seems that the earlier mathematicians didn’t study such types of congruence. First time a formulation of solutions is established by the author. Formulation is the merit of the paper as formulation of solutions has provided a simple procedure of finding the required solutions with an ease.

Heptagonal Fuzzy Numbers by Max Min Method

In this paper, we propose another methodology for the arrangement of fuzzy transportation problem under a fuzzy environment in which transportation costs are taken as fuzzy Heptagonal numbers. The fuzzy numbers and fuzzy values are predominantly used in various fields. Here, we are converting fuzzy Heptagonal numbers into crisp value by using range technique and then solved by the MAX MIN method for the transportation problem.

Modeling and Analysis of Influenza A H1N1 Outbreaks in India

Modeling and Analysis of Influenza A H1N1 Outbreaks in India

Influenza A H1N1 incidence in India, which is a highly contagious acute respiratory disease in humans caused by type A influenza virus. This study employs retrospective comparative study of the data from National Centre for Disease Control CDC yearly reports from April 2010 to April 2019. The case fatality rates of Influenza A H1N1 incidence in India was forecasted using autoregressive integrated moving average ARIMA models in order to build a predictive tool for Influenza A H1N1 surveillance. Clearly from the study, lack of rainfall spread the virus more efficiently and Maharashtra stood first in total number of cases and deaths of Influenza A H1N1 whereas Lakshadweep had no signs of disease. Further, number of Cases were reported in the year 2015 i.e. 28 and 25 of cases have been reported in 2017 when compared to ten years data. ARIMA 2, 1, 3 model was selected for its minimum value of normalized BIC, MAPE and good R Square among all other models. The model forecasted the decrease in case fatality rate of Influenza A H1N1 for next 10years. Thus, results indicate that, ARIMA models provide a means to better understand Influenza A H1N1 incidence yielding forecasts that can be used for public health planning at the national level. A Review on the Comparison of Box Jenkins ARIMA and LSTM of Deep Learning

April 02, 2021 0
A Review on the Comparison of Box Jenkins ARIMA and LSTM of Deep Learning

A time series is a set of events, sequentially calculated over time. Predicting the Time Series is mostly about predicting the future. The ability of a time series forecasting model is determined by its success in predicting the future. This is often at the expense of being able to explain why a specific prediction was made. The Box Jenkins model implies that the time series is stationary, and thus suggests differentiating non stationary series once or several times to obtain stationary effects. This generates a model for ARIMA, the I being the word for Integrated . The LSTM networks, comparable to computer memory, enforce a gated cell for storing information. Such as the previously mentioned networks, the LSTM cells also recognize when to make preceding time steps reads and writes information. Even though the work is new, it is obvious that LSTM architectures provide tremendous prospects as contenders for modeling and forecasting time series. The outcomes of the overall discrepancy in error indicate that in regards of both RMSE and MAE, the LSTM model tended to have greater predictive accuracy than the ARIMA model.

Resources Allocation Queue Fairness Model of Multi Server Petroleum Products Distribution System

February 18, 2021 0
Resources Allocation Queue Fairness Model of Multi Server Petroleum Products Distribution System

Customer classification and service prioritization policy in a multi server single queuing system is one major scheduling policy employed by most service oriented institutions to provide preferential treatment to customers, as well as control services in the queuing system. Jobs seniority and service requirement differences are two fundamental principles of queue fairness governing such preferential services. In this study, we invoke the RAQFM analytical framework to investigate the dominance of these parameters in determining class discrimination and system unfairness in atypical multi class multi server single queuing architecture under preemptive priority service policy. In a comparative variant, we evaluate and compare the relative fairness as well as class discrimination coefficients of an alternative setup resource dedication system, i.e. dedicating a separate server or set of server s to each class of customers served under a single FCFS queuing policy. Tentatively, the result of the analysis shows that granting preemptive priority service to customers’ classes based on some socio economic or geo political considerations order than the fundamental principles of queue fairness service requirements and job seniority differences maybe not justify. As classes of short jobs from low priority class which have arrived the system early have to wait for eternity for the completion of many classes of long jobs from the high priority classes that arrive behind them thus, to an unfair treatment by the system and a violation of the two fundamental principles of queue fairness. Such policy did not only breed high negative discrimination as well as general system unfairness to classes with lower service requirements and higher inter arrival time but also violate the basic principle of RAQFM. To address such conflict in a multi class multi server system, the study recommended the dedication of separate server s or set of servers to each class of customer associated with a single FCFS queuing policy as a fairer alternative if preferential services must be granted to customers on other criteria than the two fundamental principles of queue fairness.

The Analytical Nature of the Greens Function in the Vicinity of a Simple Pole

September 04, 2020 0
The Analytical Nature of the Greens Function in the Vicinity of a Simple Pole

It is known that the Green function of a boundary value problem is a meromorphic function of a spectral parameter. When the boundary conditions contain integro differential terms, then the meromorphism of the Greens function of such a problem can also be proved. In this case, it is possible to write out the structure of the residue at the singular points of the Greens function of the boundary value problem with integro differential perturbations. An analysis of the structure of the residue allows us to state that the corresponding functions of the original operator are sufficiently smooth functions. Surprisingly, the adjoint operator can have non smooth eigenfunctions. The degree of non smoothness of the eigenfunction of the adjoint operator to an operator with integro differential boundary conditions is clarified. It is indicated that even those conjugations to multipoint boundary value problems have non smooth eigenfunctions.

Rp 135 Reformulation of Solutions of the Standard Quadratic Congruence of Composite Modulus A Product of Odd Prime Power Integer and Four

In this paper, the author reformulated the solutions of the standard quadratic congruence of composite modulus a product of odd prime power integer and four. In the first formulation the solutions were obtained using different formulae. Now, a single formula is established for solutions. The formula is tested and verified using some illustrations. No need to use Chinese Remainder Theorem and solutions can now be obtained orally using the new formula. This is the merit of the paper.

Modeling the Consequence of Multi Intervention Campaigns for the Spread of Malaria

This paper proposes and analyses a basic deterministic mathematical model to investigate Simulation for controlling malaria Diseases Transmission dynamics. The model has nine non linear differential equations which describe the control of malaria with two state variables for mosquitoes populations and five state variables for humans population and to introduce the new SPITR model for the transmission dynamics of malaria with four time dependent control measures in Ethiopia Insecticide treated bed nets ITNS , Treatments, Indoor Residual Spray IRs and Intermittent preventive treatment of malaria in pregnancy IPTP . The models are analyzed qualitatively to determine criteria for control of a malaria transmission dynamics, and are used to calculate the basic reproductionR 0. The equilibria of malaria models are determined. In addition to having a disease free equilibrium, which is globally symptotically stable when the R 0 1, the basic malaria model manifest ones possession of a quality of the phenomenon of backward bifurcation where a stable disease free equilibrium co exists at the same time with a stable endemic equilibrium for a certain range of associated reproduction number less than one. The results also designing the effects of some model parameters, the infection rate and biting rate. The numerical analysis and numerical simulation results of the model suggested that the most effective strategies for controlling or eradicating the spread of malaria were suggest using insecticide treated bed nets, indoor residual spraying, prompt effective diagnosis and treatment of infected individuals with vaccination is more effective for children.

Mixed Convective Hydromagnetic Stagnation Point Flow of Nanofluid over an Inclined Stretching Plate with Prescribed Surface Heat Flux

The aim of this paper is to investigate the two dimensional, nonlinear, steady, mixed convective flow of viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting nanofluid flow over an inclined stretching plate with prescribed heat flux in the presence of uniform transverse magnetic field. The present work concerns with two types of nanofluids such as copper water and alumina water nanofluids which analyse the heat transfer due to laminar flow of nanofluids over an inclined stretching plate with angle of inclination a with the horizontal. Using appropriate transformations, the governing partial differential equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations with corresponding conditions and which are solved numerically by MATLAB. Numerical solutions are obtained for the velocity and temperature as well as the skin friction coefficient and Nusselt number for different values of pertinent parameters and the physical aspects of the problem are discussed. The numerical results were validated by comparison with previously published results in the literature. It is found that the effect of nanoparticle volume fraction is to increase the heat transfer and hence enhance the thermal boundary layer thickness.

Viscous and Ohmic Heating Effects on Hydromagnetic Convective Radiative Boundary Layer Flow Due to a Permeable Shrinking Surface with Internal Heat Generation

In this paper, the effects of viscous and Ohmic heating on magneto hydrodynamic forced convection flow due to a permeable shrinking surface in the presence of internal heat generation and radiation is investigated. The shrinking surface subjected to suction is prescribed with non uniform temperature which varies with the quadratic power of x. Momentum boundary layer equation takes into account of transverse magnetic field effect. Thermal boundary layer equation considered the effects of viscous and Ohmic heating due to transverse magnetic field, radiation and internal heat generation. Numerical results are obtained for various values of governing physical parameters. To access the accuracy of the numerical solution, the present results are checked against previously published work and the analytical solution of the problem obtained using Kummer’s function. Table values show that the analytical and numerical solutions are found to be in excellent agreement.
