A Comparative Study on Mushroom Classification using Supervised Machine Learning Algorithms

Mushroom hunting is gaining popularity as a leisure activity for the last couple of years. Modern studies suggest that some mushrooms can be useful to treat anemia, improve body immunity, fight diabetes and a few are even effective to treat cancer. But not all the mushrooms prove to be beneficial. Some mushrooms are poisonous as well and consumption of these may result in severe illnesses in humans and can even cause death. This study aims to examine the data and build different supervised machine learning models that will detect if the mushroom is edible or poisonous. Principal Component Analysis PCA algorithm is used to select the best features from the dataset. Different classifiers like Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, K Nearest Neighbor KNN , Support Vector Machine SVM , Naïve Bayes and Random Forest are applied on the dataset of UCI to classify the mushrooms as edible or poisonous. The performance of the algorithms is compared using Receiver Operating Characteristic ROC Curve.

Review of Software to Analyse the Physical Conditions of the Athletes using sEMG

Electromyography measures muscle responses of a nerve's simulation of the muscle. EMG is generally measured or recorded through surface, needle or wired electrodes. The surface electromyography is a commonly used technique for measuring the muscle exhilaration. The purpose of this project is to evaluate the use of sEMG in the practical context and to translate the given context to the appropriate analysis. The sEMG are used on the athletes while they are running and respective results are being noted. By using this technique our project wishes to implement an android iOS application to calculate the corresponding values which are being noted by the particular device which we have been made. The signals which are being given by the device is converted into the appropriate percentage values or graphs which can be determined into giving a complete overview about the person whom he is checking and can suggest the diets and exercises to make that person fit to the expectations. This software is mainly look forward for the development of the future athletes which can win the prizes. This platform provides immense forms of diets which are based on the values or results which have been depicted. Performance analysis in sports is considered to be an integral component of understanding the requirements of the optimal performance. Several measurement techniques have been used to inspect the performance of the best athletes today. it is mostly commonly done in laboratory where physiology and bio mechanics can be analyzed. in this system first, the coaches conduct a study about the agility, strength and nutrition of the excellent players of the country. Then the coaches of the respective clubs or the schools check each and every student's physical condition and compare with the stored data in order to train them. The project has got direct advantage to the aspiring future athletes of the country and also to the health conscious society by providing them a device to calculate on their body metrics and work around to improve on it.

Air Quality Monitoring and Control System in IoT

Air pollution that refers to the contamination of the air, irrespective of indoors or outside. A physical, biological or chemical alteration to the air in the atmosphere can be termed as pollution. It occurs when any harmful gases, dust, smoke enters into the atmosphere and makes it difficult for plants, animals, and humans to survive as the air becomes dirty. Proposed system considers pollution due to automobiles and provide a real time solution which is not just monitors pollution levels but also take into consideration control measures for reducing traffic and industrial zone in highly polluted areas. The solution is provided by a sensor based hardware module which can be placed along roads and plants. These modules can be placed on lamp posts and they transfer information about air quality wirelessly to cloud server. The proposed system also provides about air quality information through a mobile application which enables commuters to take up routes where air quality is good.

Automated Grass Cutter Robot Based on IoT

Automation is rapidly growing in the present technology. So automation plays a vital role in the agricultural field which is helpful for the farmers. In the earlier days, the grass cutters used were manually handheld devices. Because of this, there was pollution and loss of energy as they used gas and petrol engines. So the old grass cutters need to be replaced by automated ones, where the system will work for guidance and obstacle detection using battery as a power source. And it used Arduino UNO micro controller board as the main controller of the system, Ultrasonic sensor for object detection, a NODE MCU for Wi-Fi connection, a linear blade for cutting the grass, and a motor drive for the wheels of the Robot. This is fully automated and renewable energy based project.

Real-Time Tracking and Fuel Monitoring System for Vehicle

In today's world, the actual record of fuel filled and fuel consumption in vehicles is not maintained. It results in a financial loss. To avoid this we are implementing a microcontroller based fuel monitoring and vehicle tracking system. After visited several software-based companies we decide to work on embedded technology. Which is the combination of software as well as hardware? In our project, we are using GPS as well as GSM module.

GPS receive the data from satellite and GSM module transmit through SMS with the predefined number both this module work UART (Universal Asynchronous re-transmitter protocol). Also, we are using Arduino UNO. It is a single chip microcontroller using this we control all the hardware connected with our project. So we refer the datasheet of 8 mega 328 IC. In 8 mega 328 microcontrollers, there is 2 kilobyte RAM and 32 kilobytes fresh ROM. RAM generally used for defining the data types.

While fresh ROM is used to store the program. In this current session, we work UAR protocol programming. In ARDUINO microcontroller try to load simple basic LED on the program using ARDUINO compiler. In this system, we are using both simulations of GSM and GPS module and also we are creating an android application to show all the details of collecting information in an android application.

Smart Assistant for Blind Humans using Rashberry PI

An OCR (Optical Character Recognition) system which is a branch of computer vision and in turn a sub-class of Artificial Intelligence. Optical character recognition is the translation of optically scanned bitmaps of printed or hand-written text into audio output by using of Raspberry pi. OCRs developed for many world languages are already under efficient use.

This method extracts moving object region by a mixture-of-Gaussians-based background subtraction method. A text localization and recognition are conducted to acquire text information. To automatically localize the text regions from the object, a text localization and Tesseract algorithm by learning gradient features of stroke orientations and distributions of edge pixels in an Adaboost model. Text characters in the localized text regions are then binaries and recognized by off-the-shelf optical character recognition software.

The recognized text codes are output to blind users in speech. Performance of the proposed text localization algorithm. As the recognition process is completed, the character codes in the text file are processed using Raspberry pi device on which recognize character using Tesseract algorithm and python programming, the audio output is listed.

Multiple Behaviour In Autonomous Robotic Vehicle

The advancement in mobile robotics in recent decades have inspired and cemented a belief that multiple autonomous robotic agents, often cooperatively helping the humans. In order to provide more generalized adaptive capability in dynamic environments, it is desirable to exclude as many detail assumptions as possible. In order to utilize autonomous mobile robots in real life, the ability of adapting themselves to the environment which change in determinately.

Studies have been conducted applying diverse algorithms to robot control for the learning of motion rules and path planning in general environments. . Utilizing DNA programming, Kozza showed that robots can find out motion rules for roaming around grid spaces to get preys, with environmental information only.

The robot's sensor information and position data relative to the obstacle is entered, classified to generate representative pattern, which in turn is entered into the Associative Memory to generate generalized motion rules. The desired destination can be determined with information the robot generates.
