Women in Hospitality Challenges Admits Covid 19 Global Pandemic

June 18, 2021 0
Women in Hospitality Challenges Admits Covid 19 Global Pandemic

Before the COVID, there were more than 2.3 million visitors in Sri Lanka. Travel and tourism income remained a significant contributor to the national economy. By 2022, Colombo will open more than 14 hotel projects in its pipeline to meet the growing number of passengers as per the industry strategy. Sri Lanka reported around 60 of its occupancy last year, but key indicators of Easter terrorist attacks revealed less than 2018 in April 2019. It has been predicted, for example, that 25,000 30,000 additional employees would be needed per year to accommodate for the expected rise in guest arrivals to the region, post COVID forecast. Still, only less than 1,000 hotel management training graduates have generated annually, as per the tourism industry higher educational institute figures. It needs to build a good picture of the hotel industry to draw more women into the workforce to bridge the markets expanding labour shortage, to meet state economic objectives, more efficiently. The industry is offering equal opportunities for woman from its initiation in 1966 after the II world war and expansion in the same year with the approval of parliaments Act No. 10 of 1966.

Assessing the Impact of Human Capital, Energy Consumption and Environment on Sustainable Development Model of Malaysia

This paper investigates the impact of human capital development life expectancy and labor productivity , energy usage, and environmental factors carbon dioxide emissions on the per capita economic sustainable development in Malaysia. We employed the adjusted net savings per capita World Bank to represent the economically sustainable development path in Malaysia. With the assumptions of possible structural breaks along the years of between 1971, and 2013, the Zivot Andrews unit root test was performed on all of the variables concerned. Following the bounds test method, we proposed the auto regressive distributed lag ARDL model for the per capita sustainable development path in Malaysia based on the impact of human capital development and environmental factors. We found that life expectancy, carbon emissions and energy usage have mixed significant effects on adjusted net savings per capita in both the short run and long run in Malaysia.

Covid 19 Pandemic and the Socioeconomic Development in Nigeria Evidence from Toda and Yamamoto Procedure

This paper investigates the impact ofCovid 19 pandemic on the socioeconomic development of Nigeria using Modified Toda and Yamamoto causality test for the period spanning 23rd March 23rd July, 2020. The long run causality test outcome indicates that there is a bidirectional causality running from Covid 19 pandemic to exchange rate and from Covid 19 pandemic to crude oil price while unidirectional causality exists running from exchange rate to crude oil price. This suggests that Covid 19 pandemic has impacted on crude oil price and exchange rate. It is recommended that Nigerian government should continue struggling towards achieving economic diversification and also ensure that safety measures given by the NCDC is strictly followed in order to reduce the daily spread of the virus in the country.

Service Quality Impact on Customer Satisfaction: In the Study of Mongolian Banking Sector

Service Quality Impact on Customer Satisfaction: In the Study of Mongolian Banking Sector
This research contributes to the literature by considering a model for examining the quality of services in the banking industry. The results showing support for the hypothesis suggest that the five SERVQUAL factors can be used to test the banking services based on the whole system. Previous studies have established that satisfying customers is not enough to maintain them, as even satisfied customers in many industries can suffer high defects. Mongolian Banks operate in 95 of the financial industry and 13 Khaan, Golomt, Khas, TDB, State, Ub City, Capital, Capitron, Chinggis Khan, etc. commercial banks offer financial services to 2 million customers. Financial sectors fully privatized and more competitive which means customers use the services of different banks at the same time. In this way, the Mongolia context offers a good opportunity for investigating the issue of banking quality. Many customers find it difficult to understand the complex nature of financial products and therefore tend to focus on brand names that are typically focused on quality services.

Poverty Reduction and Government Expenditure on Social Safety Net Bangladesh Perspective

July 10, 2019 0
Poverty Reduction and Government Expenditure on Social Safety Net Bangladesh Perspective
Poverty reduction is the most important challenge for Bangladesh and the social safety net SSN program is the mainstay of poverty alleviation strategies. Over the last decade, the country has increased safety net budget significantly and has achieved remarkable success in poverty reduction. The Government of Bangladesh has allocated 7.65 billion US dollars for social safety net programs in the financial year 2018 2019, but this expenditure is not sufficient in the context of the present situation. Insufficient tax revenue is the main barrier to effective public spending. In addition, institutional incapacity and poor tax compliance made the country's tax GDP ratio is only 10.6 . To become a poverty free nation, Bangladesh needs a sufficient revenue base to spend on SSN program.

Economic Growth and Human Capital

As many of you complete your University education and go out to face the challenges of the career which you may have in mind and plan for realization of the vision and dreams which many of you will have, there will be several impediments and difficulties in your way. You would face them well if you have a commitment to quality and excellence. Sometimes you may also feel unclear in your mind as to which path to adopt. Often you may face difficult decisions where the ideals that you have with you and the reality of life are widely different. These tough times will be your real test. I hope that when such occasions arise, you will stand by what is right, fair and just and promotes excellence. It is this ability and adherence to principles which in the long run will take you far. It is your dedication and commitment to your ideals which will shape your future life. Sometimes you may be tempted to give up your ideals for immediate gains. Such victories occasioned by these temptations would definitely be short lived and may cause you incalculable harm in the long run.

This paper focuses on Indian economy in the light of sustainable development goal number 9. Indian economy is a developing mixed economy. It is world's sixth largest economy in terms of nominal GDP and third largest economy by GDP PPP 181 countries as per International Monetary Fund. The Indian economy is projected to grow at an annual rate of 7.4 in 2018 and 7.8 in 2019, according to a recently released IMF Economic Outlook. Forbes cites that, India's economy is lifted by strong private consumption, waning transitory effects of demonetisation and implementation of the national goods and services tax. Over time, growth is expected to gradually rise with continued implementation of structural reforms that increase productivity and incentivize private investment.

Problems of Women Education in India A Case Study of Mangalagiri Mandal in Guntur District of A.P

Rapidly changing technologies and increasing globalization suggests that better education and training have become essential for sustainable development improved livelihoods and the competitiveness of the economy. Education and training needs are required to be placed at the centre of the rural development agenda in order to contribute to eradicating poverty and backwardness, to ensure sustainable growth and to build human capacity for rural development. Education is the process that liberates the mind. It is liberation from all forms of darkness and ignorance. Womens literacy is essential for economic viability and independence. Acquisition of knowledge is one of the prerequisites of human development. Today all development agencies agree on the importance of educating women in order to promote and maintain family education, health, nutrition and general well being. The aim of education should be to train women in such a way that they apply their acquired knowledge to the pursuits of daily life and fit them for the position they have to fill.

Artificial Intelligence in Accordance to Human Rights

Artificial Intelligence in Accordance to Human Rights
We exist in a surrounding where, humans prefer a computer-oriented application to buy clothes or food, rather than going to the nearest store to buy all the amenities. The change of preference was due to a vast emerging concept called "AU". AU is the use or introduction of automatic equipment in the process of manufacturing or other processes and facility. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the concept that evolved from AU. Artificial Intelligence is the process of simulation of human intelligence in machines.

Humans are unaware of the fact that their job opportunities are being taken over by a machine simulated by human intelligence. In recent years, many law firms started to engage their firms with an AI in their legal research. Our paper traces the evolution of the relationship between technology and human productivity from a contemporary perspective with special reference to HR as well as speculates on the possible answers to emerging problems. The main question is whether an AI taking over the legal sector or any other sectors affects the basic HR? HR is a right which is believed to belong to every person. Here, in this case, the basic right of getting a proper livelihood is being affected.
