Appreciative Advanced Blind SQLI Attack

July 24, 2021 0
Appreciative Advanced Blind SQLI Attack
We are no longer faced with a new threats to our web applications from SQL injection attacks, and the number of attacks is steadily declining as users become more aware of the risks. Almost all web applications are still vulnerable to advanced SQL injection attacks. A regular expression based query structure in this paper describes a new method for transforming blind SQL injection into a more effective and faster technique than traditional blind SQL injection. When we understand the cause of an attack, we are able to find more effective treatment.

IO Management in Oracle

December 16, 2020 0
IO Management in Oracle

I O operations in UNIX and Linux systems typically go through the file system cache. Although this doesnt represent a problem in itself, this extra processing does require resources. Bypassing the file system cache reduces CPU requirements, and frees up the file system cache for other non database file operations. Operations against raw devices automatically bypass the file system cache.

Oracle in Memory Configuration

December 16, 2020 0
Oracle in Memory Configuration

Oracle Database In Memory provides a unique dual format design that enables tables to be instantaneously represented in memory using traditional row format and a new in memory column format. The Oracle SQL Optimizer by design routes analytic queries to the column format and OLTP queries to the row format, transparently delivering best of both worlds performance. Oracle Database automatically maintains full transactional uniformity between the row and the column formats, just as it maintains uniformity between tables and indexes today. The new column format is a pure in memory format and is not persistent on disk, so there are no additional storage costs or storage synchronization issues.

Integrated Methodology for Big Data Categorizing and Improving Cloud System Data Portability with Security

The grow pattern of cloud information portability prompted malignant information dangers that require utilizing information security procedures. Most cloud framework applications contain significant and classified information, for example, individual, exchange, or well being data. Perils like data could place the cloud structures that clasp these data at big risk. Not with standing, customary security arrangements are not equipped for taking care of the security of huge information versatility. The present security systems are inadequate for huge information because of their deficiency of deciding the information that thought to be ensured or because of their immovable time unpredictability. In this way, the interest for verifying portable enormous information has been expanding quickly to stay away from any potential dangers. This proposes an incorporated procedure to order and verify huge information before executing information versatility, duplication, and investigation. The need of verifying enormous information versatility is controlled by grouping the information as per the hazards way level of their substance into two classes secret and open. It is uncovered that the advanced way of thinking can from a general perspective redesign the cloud frameworks information adaptability.

Fine Grained Auditing

December 24, 2019 0
Fine Grained Auditing

Through Fine grained auditing was offered as a gritty audit option for SELECT statements from oracle version 9i. It was then improved in oracle 10g to also include DML. It was an enhancement, not as an auxiliary for standard auditing, but as a way to address audit supplies that explicitly specify situations for which an audit record needs to be created. Such supplies can sometimes be uttered based on data within certain columns or simply by which columns are being accessed. Using standard auditing you can specify what you want audited based on commands and objects.

Janaushadhi Database Management System

The pharmaceutical industry has evolved from merely Rs.1500 crores in 1980 to more than Rs.1,19,000 crores by 2012. Medicines in almost every therapeutic category are sold primarily as branded drugs, at disproportionately very high prices.80 of out patient care and 60 of all in hospital care occurs at private facilities in India and majority of households are exposed to a private sector market to buy drugs. According to NSO estimates, up to 79 of health care expenses in rural areas are due to the cost of medicines. Thus, access to low priced generic drugs is very critical in ensuring health care at affordable prices. Ensuring the availability of quality medicines at affordable prices to all' has been the key objective of the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India. Hence, it has launched Jan Aushadi' as a direct market intervention strategy where the high quality generic medicines would be sold at low prices. Such medicines would be equivalent in potency and efficacy to expensive branded drugs. This project primarily directs towards providing online web facility to all its customers under Jan Aushadi Scheme for efficient distribution of generic medicines under prescription throughout the country mainly focusing on rural areas where citizens are deprived of basic knowledge about the consumption of proper drugs and their compositions. Through this project, we are aiming at providing medicines with respective compositions as per the Jan Aushadhi Scheme and ensuring that they get easy access to Jan Aushadi drugs using these online services.

Use of Big Data in Government Sector

June 25, 2018 0
Use of Big Data in Government Sector
Businesses, governments, and the research community can all derive value from the massive amounts of digital data they collect. Analyzing big-data application projects by governments offers guidance for follower countries for their own future big-data initiatives. Decision making in government usually takes much longer and is conducted through consultation and mutual consent of a large number of diverse actors, including officials, interest groups, and ordinary citizens.

Governments deal not only with general issues of big-data integration from multiple sources and in different formats and cost but also with some special challenges. The biggest is collecting data, governments have difficulty, as the data not only comes from multiple channels but from different sources. Most governments operating or planning big-data projects need to take a step-by-step approach for setting the right goals and realistic expectations. Success depends on their ability to integrate and analyze information, develop supporting systems, and support decision making through analytics.

CarStream: An Industrial System of Big Data Processing for Internet of Vehicles
As the Internet-of-Vehicles (IoV) technology becomes an increasingly important trend for future transportation, DE-signing large-scale IoV systems has become a critical task that aims to process big data uploaded by fleet vehicles and to provide data-driven services. The IoV data, especially high-frequency vehicle statuses (e.g., location, engine parameters), are characterized as large volume with a low density of value and low data quality. Such characteristics pose challenges for developing real-time applications based on such data. In this paper, we address the challenges in DE-signing a scalable IoV system by describing Car Stream, an industrial system of big data processing for chauffeured car services.

Photon is deployed within Google Advertising System to join data streams such as web search queries and user clicks on advertisements. It produces joined logs that are used to derive key business metrics, including billing for advertisers. Our production deployment processes millions of events per minute at peak with an average end-to-end latency of less than 10 seconds. We also present challenges and solutions in maintaining large persistent state across geographically distant locations, and highlight the design principles that emerged from our experience.

With an increased usage of the internet, the data usage is also getting increased exponentially year on year. So obviously to handle such an enormous data we needed a better platform to process data. So a programming model was introduced called Map Reduce, which process big amounts of data in-parallel on large clusters (thousands of nodes) of commodity hardware in a reliable, fault-tolerant manner. Since HADOOP has been emerged as a popular tool for BIG DATA implementation, the paper deals with the overall architecture of HADOOP along with the details of its various components.

Traditional Databases vs NOSQL

May 01, 2018 0
Traditional Databases vs NOSQL

Database is a collection of logically related data and is composed of collection of files that are linked in a way that information from one of files may be combined with information from other files so that user can get exact information.

Database management system (DBMS) is package that is used for creating and managing databases. A Database Management System provides a systematic way for users and programmers to create, retrieve, update and manage data. Because of DBMS it is possible for end users to create, read, update and delete the data in database.

With the introduction of new technological approaches like IOT, Cloud Computing the traditional database approach is replaced by new approach known as NOSQL.
