Introduction to Shifting Solution Synchronizer
The Synchronizer is a part of synchromesh manual transmission that allows the smooth engagement of the gears. Synchronizer is a kind of clutch that allows the component turning at different speeds to synchronize their speeds using cone friction. The main function of the Synchronizer is synchronizing the speeds of the components and preventing the engagement of the gears until synchronization is achieved. Modelling and Simulation of Some Combustion Parameters Intport-1 and Intvalve-1 using Gt-Power Engine Simulation Software with Biodiesel-Ethanol-Diesel Blends as Fuel
Biodiesel-Ethanol-Diesel blends are believed to be able to improve the combustion characteristics since biodiesel, ethanol, and diesel have different fuel characteristics. A model was developed using GT-POWER, an engine cycle simulation for a biodiesel-ethanol-diesel BED fueled direct injection compression ignition engine corresponding to a 4.5 liter, TecQuipment TD115 MK-II single-cylinder diesel engine was used. At selected operating conditions, Intport-1 and Intvalve-1combustion parameters of the engine at constant load of 1000 g at various speeds of 1760 rpm, 1840 rpm, 1920 rpm, 2000 rpm and 2080 rpm were investigated. Results of the static pressure in Intport-1 for BED30 were compared with those obtained with the diesel and found to have the same trends for all the speed conditions, there was a significant pressure drop to less than 2.40 bar within the compression region and rises up above 2.40 bar before the power stroke region. In the present time, the automobiles running on the roads have drastically increased in number due to the advancement in the sector with low cost to offer to the people. Though this has made the life sophisticated as well as has made our life easier in terms of travelling and transportation, this has dragged us towards a major issue regarding the pollution it causes to the atmosphere. Design and Analysis of Air Intake System for Single Cylinder Engine
Our understanding of Air flow behavior around an object makes us better designer in order to achieve better performances from our automobiles. In this paper we present an analysis of air flow via air-intake system required to meet FSAE norms in SUPRA Vehicles. The aim of this project is to create a flow restriction device to be fitted in the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) car being built by Team Zenith, GB Pant Engineering College, New Delhi. The car is an open wheeled race vehicle, designed to go from 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds and have a top speed of about 80-90 mph.An Air-intake system in a FSAE SUPRA Vehicle consists of various components as followed: -1) Air Filter2) Air Restrictor3) Plenum4) Intake Manifold.Air enters at the filter and passes through restrictor, which is used to increase velocity and drop pressure and then enters into plenum which is used to provide better distribution of air flow and to prevent further drop in pressure.
Design of Air restrictor is critical as per norms of FSAE due to fixed minimum neck diameter of 20 mm as demonstrated below. Fig: - Basic structure of restrictor, plenum and runnerThis is done primarily to limit the power capability from the engine. Since the maximum mass flow rate is now a fixed parameter because of the restrictor, the aim is to allow the engine to achieve the maximum mass flow with minimal pull from the engine.
In short, the pressure difference between atmosphere and the pressure created in the cylinder should be minimal, so that maximum airflow into the engine at all times. Our study revolves around finding such combination of angles of inclination and rise of the restrictor which should provide the vehicle maximum performance within limits directed by FSAE.We have simulated various design of Air restrictors based on different pair of angles for the Air-restrictor that could make a significant impact in the performance of the engine. The software we used for the same are ANSYS, SolidWorks.

Driverless Metro Train Shuttle between the Stations using LabVIEW
The aim of this paper is to illustrate an improvement in the existing technology used in metro train movements. This train is equipped with a controller and an IR Object sensor that enables the automatic stopping of the train from one station to another station. This paper presents the development process of a prototype for a driverless train implemented using a RASPBERRY PI controller. Simulation for the system's circuits is done with LabVIEW software. The hardware circuit is interfaced with actuators and sensors for automation purposes using LabVIEW.
A hardware comprised of IR sensor, RASPBERRI PI areassembled in a prototype train. A LabVIEW CODE is used for programming the controller. A Smoke sensor is also interfaced to detect any smoke or gas present in the train.

pH Control in Effluent Treatment Plant using PLC
As we know that effluents emitted by industries contains harmful chemicals which could lead to effect on environment and society. So by retreating these effluents could be a blessing in disguise. This process can't be going through using manual process so here we need some automotive tools for that.
That is why we make use of PLC (programmable logic controller). PLC is recommended instead of other automation devices because of its versatility, robustness, reprogrammable nature and many other significant features.

Traffic light Controller for the Congested Urban Route using PLC & Ambulance Detection using RF Transmitter & Receiver with Lab VIEW
Traffic signals are the most convenient method of controlling traffic in a busy junction. Present traffic Signals fail to control the traffic effectively when a particular lane has got more traffic than the other lanes. In this paperan intelligent traffic control system using PLC is proposed.System measures the traffic density on each road bycounting the number of vehicles and then takes the decision. Programming is done using ladder diagram. Seimens S7-1200 PLC is have been used for the system implementation.
Traffic management on the road has become a severe problem of today's society because of growth of the urbanization. This leads to traffic jam at the traffic junctions which in turn causes delay to ambulances. In order to overcome this problem, this paper presents a simple ambulance controlled traffic system.
The main objective of this system is that to control the traffic, allowing an ambulance to arrive at a particular location without it having to stop anywhere until the destination is reached. This system includes RF Transmitter & Receiver technology and Lab VIEW software.

Investigation on Appropriateness of Turbo-matching of B60J68 and A58N70 Turbochargers for a Commercial Vehicle
Nowadays turbo-chargers are preferred for commercial vehicle especially to ensure the good operating conditions at higher loads. Turbo-matching is a complex task and carried out by many methods. Recent manufacturing trend added many components in supplier chain. This piece of investigation adopts test based methodologies to perform such matching. The simulation is used to predict the operating conditions at various speeds. The same verified with data-logger method which is like on road test.
The routes preferred for evaluating the various routes namely rough road, highway matching performance are: Rough Road, Highway, City Derive, slope up and slope down. The compressor map used for analyse the appropriateness of matching by methods and suggesting the appropriate turbocharger.
