Different Techniques of Water Harvesting and Reuse of Water

Water is the most important element for human life on earth. The latest scientific data confirm that the earths climate is rapidly changing. Global temperatures increased by about 1 degree Fahrenheit over the course of the last century, and is predicted to rise even more rapidly in coming decades. This is leading to temperature increase and droughts, which in turn makes water of utmost importance. Growing demand from agriculture, industry and a growing population, have increased the problem. According to international reports, industry and householders are using increasing amounts of water. As a result, there is a push for new sustainable water supplies taking place at all levels, and in every part of the world. This paper gives an account of the problem, reviews the developments of remedial measures, and describes in detail the various techniques used today to recycle water.
