Effectiveness of Public Private Partnership Strategies in Urban Crime Management in Kaduna South Local Government Area
Urban crime is a universal phenomenon that existed since the evolution of urban settlements and has continuously threatened human activities in different cities across the globe and more intensively in Nigeria in recent time. High cost of providing security for citizens amidst meagre resources and failure of the state criminal justice system which are actively seeking out alternatives or complements necessitated the need to examine the effectiveness of Public Private Partnership Strategies in managing urban crime in Kaduna South Local Government KSLGA with a view to making appropriate recommendations aiming at enhancing Public Private Partnership PPP as an option in urban crime management. Quantitative method was employed for the study, while systematic sampling was used to obtain quantitative data from 382 household heads in the six districts of the local government. Finding reveals that 73 are aware of the existence of the partnership, while 41.7 agreed that the partnership is effective and the most effective PPP strategy in urban crime management is the use of vigilante groups while the least effective is creation of job opportunities for ex offenders. The study recommends that integrated crime management offices should be established in all the six districts as this is key to the effective management of crime using PPP strategies. Also, encouragement of community collaboration with the local vigilante groups Joint Task Force by the district community leaders and philanthropists in the districts, is noted as a factor of success of PPP in crime management in KSLGA. There is equally the need for campaign awareness aiming at educating community members about the aim of the PPP programmes as well as the channels through which they can participate in crime management of their areas.

This has shifted the physical mode of education to online mode and drastically forced the government to take proactive steps to smoothly continue the education digitally. A sudden change has potential impact on education outcome on students and their level of understanding. In the present study the concept of digital education and the role of Government of India have been analyzed. Responses collected from 448 undergraduate students in West Bengal, on the constructs of Understandability, Credibility, Convenience and Techno stress. Descriptive statistics are used and parametric tests like one way ANOVA and Pearson correlation are applied for data analysis. Demographic factors like gender, type of institution, locality and monthly family income are considered. WhatsApp is mainly used as online education medium. Online education has positive impact on all the four constructs. Gender as a demographic factor significantly influences the variation in Understandability, Credibility and Convenience of online education. Locality influences the Techno stress and the Techno stress negatively associated with other three constructs.

Results the major findings of the present study are that young students migrate to urban locations like NCR for reasons such as unavailability of courses and in search of better campuses and opportunities. As many as 33.33 of total students migrated from Uttar Pradesh, and 68.7 of total students who migrated to Delhi NCR for educational purposes does not go back for voting in the last elections to their home constituency. Other than this political exclusion, many students also reported discrimination based on caste, race, gender, colour, and ethnicity. Conclusion The government should re examine the migration policies of our country and try to connect with the booming young population, and implement already existing policies widely for the development of youth. The government and educational institutions also require urgent interventions regarding the exclusion of migrated young students and their mental health.

Digital Financial Inclusion among Tribes A Post Covid Pandemic Scenario

Digital financial inclusion ensures that the marginalized and underserved population has digital access to and use of formal financial services. Such services should be personalized to the needs of consumers and delivered responsibly, at a cost that is both affordable consumers and fair for suppliers. For both individuals and companies, the digitalization of finance can reduce costs and open up new market and livelihood opportunities to help nations rebuild better after Covid 19. This study assesses the extent of digital financial inclusion and measures the awareness and usage level of digital financial services among tribal people in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The results showed that there is association between age of the respondents and the period of using digital financial services and also there is no significant difference between males and females in usage of digital financial services.
